How do I write a data analyst resume as a fresher with no experience?

Lead with education and 2–3 analysis projects on real datasets: the question, the tools and what you found. Add internships, a portfolio link and relevant coursework such as statistics and databases.

Are certifications important for a data analyst resume?

They help a little for freshers, but recruiters weigh projects and SQL skill more. List one or two relevant ones briefly; don't let them push your projects off the page.
